We
admit it — wine tasting can be intimidating. So much to learn, so
many wine-snobs to avoid. We also admit "Ali's Rally" may not be the
first thing that comes to mind when you think of great wine
and great wine events. Well, we're about to change that.
 We have decided to kick it up a notch this year with three different
Ali's Rally events — the first, an international wine tasting. Ali's Rally Uncorked: An
International Wine Experience was held on Thursday, May
24th, 2007, at the Audubon Grill & Cafe in Williamsville.
This special event, hosted by Mary Friona from WGRZ-TV
Channel 2, included sampling wines from all over the world, light
bites and sweet treats, and featured a special acoustic
set by local musician
Scott
Celani.
At Ali's Rally, our mission is to promote organ and tissue donation
awareness. Since 2003, Ali's Rally has raised an impressive
$86,000 for Upstate New York Transplant Services, for use in
their public and student education campaign.
