right to privacy. We have therefore developed this Privacy Statement
to inform you about our privacy practices for the entire
alisrally.org web site.
Privacy is of great concern to most users of the Internet, and is
a critical part of an enjoyable and satisfactory user experience. We
at Ali's Rally are acutely aware of and sensitive to the privacy
concerns of our contributors, applicants, other visitors to our Web
site. Regardless of the type of visitor you are, we assure you that
we do not collect personal information from you unless you provide
it to us.

Information We Gather from You
Personal Information
We do not collect any personal information from a visitor to our
site unless that visitor explicitly and intentionally provides it.
Under no circumstances do we collect any personal data revealing
racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or
philosophical beliefs, trade union membership, health, or sex life.
If you are simply browsing our site, we do not gather any personal
information about you.
At this time, the only on-line mechanism for leaving information
on our site is via our memories page.
Persons posting comments on our memories page must realize that this
information is publicly available to anyone who visits our site.
From time to time, we will collect any e-mail addresses submitted
to the memories page and add them to our mailing list, which may
contain news about Ali's Rally activities, fund-raising events, or
other communications from us. This data will never be sold or
distributed to third parties for any reason. You may ask to be
removed from this mailing list by sending an e-mail to
keith@alisrally.org, with the keyword 'unsubscribe' in the subject
line and we will 1.) remove your name from our list, and 2.) send
you a confirmation.
Donations
If you elect to send us an on-line donation (when this feature becomes
available), we collect and save
the information you provide. This information is used strictly
for internal donor planning and marketing activities such as
mailings to inform you of upcoming fundraising events, etc. We
do not sell nor provide this information to third parties for any
reason.
Statistical Information About Your Visit
When you visit our site, our computers may automatically collect
statistics about your visit. This information does not identify you
personally, but rather about a visit to our site. We may monitor
statistics such as how many people visit our site, the user's IP
address, which pages people visit, from which domains our visitors
come and which browsers people use. We use these statistics about
your visit for aggregation purposes only. These statistics are used
to help us improve the performance of our Web site.
Log Files
Like most standard Web site servers we use log files. This
includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet
service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type,
date/time stamp, and number of clicks to analyze trends, administer
the site, track user’s movement in the aggregate, and gather broad
demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses, etc. are
not linked to personally identifiable information.

any personally identifiable information while on our site. We use
session ID cookies. For the session ID cookie, once users close the
browser, the cookie simply terminates.
